Albarran's Mexican Bar & Grill: Authentic Tex-Mex Experience in Lubbock

Hands down the best Mexican food in Lubbock! Food is delicious… served hot and fast!! Service is amazing with very attentive and friendly staff! This is our new favorite place. Try the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce on a skillet! It’s my favorite!

Great food, made quickly, great staff and great atmosphere!

We brought our Momma here on her 60th Birthday for dinner & everything was just perfect. We arrived to a full restaurant on a Saturday night when they have live music was really good. The staff was very accommodating as they held an ice creame birthday cake in their refrigerator until it was time for us 2 sing her Happy Birthday. Also, sensing they be packed we called ahead of time & reserved a table for party of ten helping us avoid having to wait for one which was really cool bypassing the crowd right up the second floor. They have an elevator for the handicapped which was a blessing as my momma played soccer and has bad knees. Our waiter Caine was witty, funny& damn cool. He took our order perfectly and despite the capacity the kitchen spat out Our entire 10 order in less than as many minutes (less than 10 minutes), and presentation & taste, impressive! Big Up to The Kitchen Crew. No lie, my neice ate 2 whole taco plates on her own, she is thin as a sewing pin. THEN, Caine busted out the Birthday Sombrero for Momma, she wore "Happy" Tears as she blew her candles out. She says it was her Best Birthday we had ever given her! (ME & BaBy Sister yeah that was US!) Making my night & Dining experience one I will always remember & cherish. The queso, chips, and salsa were absolutely delicious so fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is top notch friendly, attentive, and quick. Plus, there’s such a variety of fantastic Mexican dishes every plate I’ve tried never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I’ve been sleeping on this restaurant. I haven’t been here in years and out of the blue my boyfriend mentions we grab dinner here. It was a great choice! The food was fresh and so delicious. Homemade tortillas with spicy papas. We ordered an appetizer and it was forgotten, no big deal but we still wanted it. The server ended up comping the queso when we didn’t even complain. Awesome customer service. The music was on point too! We wanted to ask what type of playlist was playing he was too shy. Will definitely be back.

This place is probably in my top 3 of Best Mexican Restaurants I've ever eaten in!!! Went in for lunch with a friend, we were seated immediately, out server was very helpful with any questions we had, and the food was easily the most delicious I've eaten in a long time!!! The serving was huge, and I was barely able to finish it all! I'll definitely be back very soon!!!

We're here from out of town. We asked for a Mexican food recommendation. This is where they sent us! And we were glad we came. The food, atmosphere and service were all great! Our server was amazing. And next time we're in town we'll definitely be back!.

We tried Albarran's Monday evening for the first time. While the food was great, the service was incredible. Our server Jaden was quick and accommodating. Dinner was delicious, but the queso was amazing, perhaps the best I have ever had.
